Il nome della formazione prende spunto dalla fisica degli strumenti: tubi metallici per l’appunto che\, per effetto della colonna d’aria immessa dai musicisti\, attraverso la vibrazione di un’ancia in canna di bambù posizionata nell’imboccatura\, producono suoni. \nIl repertorio raffinato con arrangiamenti appositamente composti per questo tipo di formazione\, principalmente in stile swing e latino-americano propone\, tra gli altri\, i successi delle big band americane degli anni ’30 e ’40 dirette da Benny Goodman a Glenn Miller\, passando per le morbide atmosfere dello swing di Frank Sinatra. \nAltro particolare tributo è rivolto alla musica latino-americana\, dalla bossa-nova al tango argentino\, da A.Carlos Jobim ad Astor Piazzola. DESCRIPTION:ACQUISTA IL BIGLIETTOACQUISTA IL BIGLIETTO\nDANCEFLOOR STOMPERS \nSabato 19 marzo 2022 – Live@ Jazzino (CA) \n𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗔: \nI Dancefloor Stompers ti aspettano al Jazzino il 19 marzo 2022 a partire dalle ore 21:30! \nBIOGRAFIA \nNati nel 2009\, da un’intuizione di Gianmarco Diana\, il loro intento principale è quello di rendere omaggio al soul-jazz di etichette come la Blue Note\, la Verve\, la Stax/Volt e allo stile Sixties Mod. \nL’idea era quella di sviluppare un discorso musicale fatto di un giusto equilibrio tra rivisitazioni di classici e gemme poco conosciute\, parallelamente alla scrittura e all’arrangiamento di brani originali\, e sempre con un occhio di riguardo alla produzione strumentale. Il gusto “cinematico” per la sonorizzazione ed il grande amore per il sound delle colonne sonore e della c.d. library music\, italiana e non\, degli anni ’60 e ’70 è la seconda componente viva degli Stompers\, coltivata nel corso degli anni attraverso la produzione di diversi spettacoli teatrali\, reading-concerto e commissioni dirette per cortometraggi. \nL’intenso lavoro su materiali originali è confluito nel primo album in studio della band\, Librerie Musicali (2018)\, una sorta di “summa” di queste diverse esperienze. L’obiettivo era quello di fondere l’amore per la black music (il soul-jazz\, il rhythm’n’blues\, l’Hammond sound ed il funk) con quello per la grande musica per il cinema\, la televisione e la radio\, in particolare quella prodotta in Italia tra gli anni Sessanta e Settanta\, cercando di riprodurne suono\, strumentazione\, tecniche di registrazione e missaggio\, grafica\, etc. \nAttualmente la band si esibisce sia in quartetto\, la sua formazione di base\, che in ottetto (quartetto + Adriano Sarais\, tromba\, Alessandro Angiolini\, sax tenore\, Maurizio Floris\, sax baritono e Eugenio Aresu\, percussioni)\, avvalendosi spesso della collaborazione di alcuni cantanti (Carla Giulia Striano\, Silvia Follesa\, Marco Cotza)\, ed è al lavoro su un EP di brani originali la cui uscita è prevista per la primavera del 2022. \n𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗨𝗣: \nGianmarco Diana – basso\nAndrea Schirru – tastiere\nDanilo Salis – chitarre\nFrank Stara – batteria \n𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜 𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗜: \n\nUnico Set: Inizio ore 21:30 – Prezzo spettacolo 10€. Appena adolescente\, sale su un aereo e scappa in Messico\, “il maschio d’America”\, come amava definirlo\, che l’avrebbe accolta e\, come un padre\, le avrebbe insegnato il coraggio della libertà e della coerenza. Il Messico che avrebbe visto la sua arte nascere e trionfare. \nRecentemente scomparsa\, all’età di 93 anni\, dopo una vita avventurosa\, ricca di amori (Frida Kahlo fra questi)\, disperazione\, sconfitte e rinascite\, Chavela Vargas ci offre un raro esempio di dignità\, forza e determinazione\, che\, pur filtrata dalle imprescindibili fragilità dell’animo umano\, conserva integro e cristallino il suo messaggio di verità.
